Brian Schott founded the literary journal Whitefish Review in 2008 with a band of merry pranksters and good friends. Over the past 12 years they’ve surprised people with what a small, independent literary journal can do, landing interviews with John Irving, Tom Brokaw, Michael Keaton, Jimmy Kimmel, and David Letterman. In 2016, Barnes & Noble requested the journal to be featured in over 200 stores nationwide. Brian’s own writing and photography has been published in The Boston Globe, New York Post, New York Daily News, National Geographic Traveler, Ski, Powder, and other national publications. In conjunction with Writing Coaches of Montana, he directs a writing coach program at Whitefish High School. He has a Bachelor and a Master of Arts degree from Dartmouth College, with concentrations in literature and creative writing.
